Thank you for your interest in reserving The Woods at Shagbark clubhouse for your event.  NOTE: Only owners of the Woods at Shagbark may rent the clubhouse.

Please make sure you check the calendar for clubhouse availability and to review our Rental Guidelines prior to submitting your request.

Please note, reservation requests are not final until the request form is submitted AND the association receives the rental fee AND security deposit.

Clubhouse FAQ

Q: How do I get a key to the clubhouse?
A: The clubhouse has an electronic lock.  The day of your event, text Melanie Griffith at 614-570-1235 for the security code to gain entry to the clubhouse.

Q: Am I able to get in the clubhouse early for setup?
A: As long as there are no other parties on the calendar, We can make arrangements.

Q: Does the clubhouse have appliances?
A: Refrigerator and Dishwasher, and a few small appliances such as coffee maker and toaster oven.

Q: How many people can fit in the clubhouse?
A: Clubhouse occupancy is 95 people.

Q: Are we allowed to use the pool?
A: No.  Standard Home Owner guidelines apply to clubhouse rentals.

Q: What is the address of the clubhouse?
A: 1200 Club Lane, Gahanna, OH 43230

Q: Where can my guests park?
A: Guests can park along one side of the street on Club Lane and Shagbark Road, and in guest parking throughout the complex.  Please do not block anyone's drive ways, or egress from garages. 

Q: Does the clubhouse have audio video?
A: The clubhouse has cable television with an Apple TV for presentations, and Sonos sound system.

Q. How much is the rental fee?

A. The rental fee is $50.00. There is a checklist at the clubhouse. You must clean the entire clubhouse, including bathrooms prior to leaving. You can also opt to have the clubhouse professionally cleaned after your function for $100.00.

Q. How do I know if the clubhouse is available on my date?

A. Check the web-site calendar.

Q. What is the process to rent the clubhouse?

A. Submit request online. You will receive confirmation within 7 days. Write out a check to The Woods at Shagbark for $50.00. You are liable for any damages that occur during your clubhouse use.

Please note, if you clean it yourself, you are expected to fully clean it. That means, sweeping & mopping all flooring, cleaning all surfaces, cleaning all dishes, and cleaning the bathrooms, including toilets. We do a walk-through after each rental. If you prefer to have it professionally cleaned let me know. It’s $100 to have it cleaned.
